Important Parking Info for States!

Please be aware of the following notes and see the PDF Map Here: VaChamp.RegattaParkingMap and the link to the satellite lot at the end of the post.

VARIOUS IMPORTANT POINTS FOR THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA

*To avoid confusion and expedite parking, all VASRA staff and volunteers and coaches should have their passes on their windshields, clearly displayed for the parking staff.  These passes must be the regatta-specific passes handed out by VASRA for this event, and while they will allow you to enter without paying, they will not guarantee you a spot in any particular lot.

*As always, NO PETS are allowed at the regatta. Anyone that enters the park with a pet, whether kept in the car or not, will be asked to leave park property without a refund of parking fees.

*Parking in B lot will be for VASRA staff, referees, tow vehicles, buses and handicapped patrons only. Coaches may park in the gravel on the side of the road between B and D lots as space permits.

*The trailer lot will be for trailers only, no spectator or rower vehicles will be parked there.

*The grass lot next to the trailer lot will be for team tents and utility trailers as space permits.

*C lot will be reserved entirely for handicapped patrons as it is closest to the grandstand shuttle.

*D lot will hold spectators, volunteers, coach overflow and general parking.

*Rower drop-offs will be at the Van Thompson lot.

*ALL food and equipment drop-offs will be at the C and D lot intersection with park staff, as available, helping to shuttle the gear down to the trailer lot. There will not be room in the lower lots for drop-offs of individual items of food or rowers.

*The Loisvale and Van Thompson lots will fill early and quickly. ANY SPECTATORS COMING AFTER 7:30 A.M. WILL HAVE TO PARK IN THE SATELLITE PARKING LOT AT OLD BRIDGE ROAD AND 123 IN WOODBRIDGE.  (blogger’s note: I didn’t get the other map – but I believe I have found the correct location on google, here is a link to the satellite lot. Hope that works…
